Judy Kalvin

Judy Kalvin, President, has over 20 years of experience in public relations and business writing. Prior to founding Kalvin Public Relations, she led the in-house public relations department at Sterling Group, a New York-based branding/design firm. She held similar positions at Addison and Gerstman+Meyers (now Interbrand).

Her accomplishments within these organizations include increasing the visibility and awareness to business audiences through extensive online/offline, radio, and television media placements in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Business Week, Business 2.0, Strategy & Business, CNBC, CBS radio, and WABC-TV, as well as top industry trade publications.

Judy honed her PR skills at agency Howard J. Rubenstein Associates, representing architecture, interior design, and real estate clients. Before joining the public relations arena, she spent several years writing and editing for Corporate Design magazine (Cahners Publishing Co.) where she received the NEAL Award for Business Writing. In March 2002, she was honored at City Hall in New York at the City Council's Annual Women of Achievement Pacesetter Awards.

She is also the author of the book, Defining Woman: Natural Workout for Body and Mind (Bywood Publishing, 1993). Her other affiliations include New York Women in Communications where she recently served on the Board.
